High Positive Void Coefficient was Raskin's debut solo show at Galleria Riccardo Crespi in Milan. The title references the physical phenomenon that occurred in the nuclear reactor at Chernobyl leading to its meltdown and explosion in 1986. Upon entering the upper floor of the gallery, viewers encountered a conventional gallery hanging of collages and paintings of reactors, submarines, and helicopters; descending into the mezzanine, they entered a hallway with slanted walls fashioned after a spaceship or submarine equipped with a handmade video camera, lit with orange light and constructed from collaged, painted Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). Continuing downward to a basement bathed in blue light, viewers found painted walls with aluminum foil flourishes creating reflective effects and light bleed. This light play referenced both Josef Albers's color theory, by exploiting how cones and rods produce afterimages, and James Turrell's light installations, by making a parallel between extreme radiation and extreme light phenomena. A lookout window allowed viewers to gaze up into the orange space or downward into the blue space. A collage assembled from cutout remnants of erected MDF walls lined the floor in reference to the puzzle-like reactor floor of the Chernobyl power plant.
