A collaborative music and art project oriented toward producing intersectional feminist propaganda music for children of all ages, Peebls grew from a classroom setting where it served as an introduction to standpoint feminism and engaged pedagogy beginning Spring 2015 in Philadelphia while Raskin was faculty at Tyler School of Art. The group employs prefigurative politics to literally un-form, form again, and reform what is already at hand, guiding everything from music and costume creation to maintenance of working relationships and continued unlearning of oppressive behaviors. Composed of artists working from Providence, Philadelphia, New York, and Bogota, they are motivated by the desire to "sneak into the mainframe and rearrange the brain of the world and ourselves." The group comprises artists Joanna Bellettiere, Teresa Cervantes, Maia Chao, Filipe de Sousa, Jorge Galvan, Maria Leguizamo, Lisi Raskin, Kelsey Skaroff, Daniel Stern, and Daniel Zentmeyer.
