As the inaugural Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College (CCS Bard), Raskin was commissioned to undertake a road trip across the American West visiting Cold War monuments including the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) and the Titan Missile Museum, making sculptures and drawings along the way. In addition to performing site research and synthesizing this research into objects and drawings, a central part of this project involved working with curatorial studies students with whom Raskin maintained weekly contact through phone calls and live radio broadcasts. This project utilized the artist residency and proximity to the artistic process as an environment for collaborative learning. In collaboration with the curatorial studies students, an exhibition of Raskin's work was mounted in the atrium between the Hessel Museum of Art and the Center for Curatorial Studies. Within the space, the artist displayed road-made artworks and artifacts including postcards, several transceiver sculptures, and small rocket sculptures crafted from carcasses of used fireworks. Packaging material from parcels sent from the road as well as a handmade Doomsday Clock were displayed around the front desk, anchoring the exhibition's thematic concerns with the daily functions of the environment.
